ESPNU Serves Up Wednesday Night Women’s Volleyball into High Definition For the first time, ESPNU will air every Wednesday Night Women’s Volleyball game in high definition beginning with Miami at Florida State on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET. 

Wednesday Night Women’s Volleyball, which first aired on ESPNU last year, will also feature two doubleheaders and eight of the top 25 ranked NCAA  teams according to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s (AVCA) most recent poll, during the eight-week series.

Coverage of the 2011 women’s volleyball season across ESPNU and ESPN2 will include 17 games, 11 of which feature a ranked team. The regular season schedule showcases six SEC, four Big 12, three Big 10, two ACC games and one game apiece for the BIG EAST and WAC.In addition to regular season action, fans can watch the nation’s top contenders in the BIG EAST, MEAC, SWAC and WAC championships on ESPNU HD beginning Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m.
