With the close of the football regular season, I found the listing of all the 105 bowls being played this year. The names alone are worthy of my first annual football bowl name awards:
Old School - New Mexico Bowl, Texas Bowl and Gator Bowl.
LOL - Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl (at least they should have good pregame food).
Fill Up the T-Shirt - Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl.
Next Day Breakfast - Little Caesars Bowl.
Good Deed - Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.
Buy it, Fuel it, Fix it, Paint it, Fix it again - Hyundai Sun Bowl, Valero Alamo Bowl, Meineke Car Care Bowl, MAACO Bowl and Autozone Liberty Bowl.
World Peace - Military Bowl Presented By Northrop Grumann.
Google - uDrove Humanitarian Bowl and AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl (uDrove is a management tool for the transportation industry and AdvoCare is a health and wellness company - information via Google search!).
Bowl names are getting better and better each year!
